What holds the card in place inside the box?
A cut slot. 16 of the 31 designs here use a sponge or foam insert with a slot sized to a standard 85.6 × 54 mm card, so the card sits flush and does not slide when the box is opened. Thicker metal cards get a deeper slot.
The rest of the layout is yours: a printed message panel under the lid, a place for a folded letter, a second slot for a key fob or an NFC tag. Six designs are book-style boxes that open like a folder.
Card programs usually reprint per campaign. The structure stays the same and only the print changes, so repeat runs skip tooling and go straight to press.
